U.S. Sentencing for Terra Founder Do Kwon
Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs and central figure in the 2022 Terra-LUNA collapse, is scheduled for final sentencing on December 11, 2025 at 16:00 UTC in Courtroom 1305 of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, before Judge Paul A. Engelmayer. He previously pled guilty to conspiracy and wire-fraud charges tied to misleading investors about TerraUSD’s stability mechanism, and U.S. prosecutors are seeking a 12-year prison term, while the defense is asking the court to cap the sentence at five years, after which he may still face further proceedings in South Korea.
